Summary

When transmigrator Alex Thorne opens his eyes, he finds himself transformed into a previously nonexistent Primarch within the Warhammer universe—the Emperor's youngest son and the wielder of the Warp's dominion over shadows. Armed with foreknowledge of the impending tragedies, including the Horus Heresy, the fall of Magnus, and the grim fate of the Golden Throne, Alex knows that only absolute power can alter a doomed galaxy. Amidst the endless night of Umbar, he builds his own Legion from the ground up: the Shadow Watch. Spanning across star systems with his shadow beacons, he uses iron and fire to reignite the spark of human civilization. He is the Lord of Shadows, the Pale Moon of the Warp, Master of the 555 Worlds of the Corona Corridor, and the Primarch father of 550,000 Shadow Watch Legionaries. However, upon his long-awaited reunification with the Imperium, Alex discovers that history has dangerously fractured. The Grey Knights emerge prematurely, forged from his own gene-seed. Magnus’s reckless psychic communication nearly obliterates his home planet. The Lion, as the first returning Primarch, enjoys an unprecedented thirty years of the Emperor's direct companionship, earning the titles of the Emperor's "Leonis" and "Angel of Death." Meanwhile, a fiercely competitive Horus strives to prove himself as the Emperor's most dependable son. As the rivalry between the "Leonis" and the "Centaur," the "Angel of Death" and the "Warmaster" intensifies, Alex learns that rewriting the destiny of the cosmos is far more perilous than he ever imagined, complicated by the shifting bonds of brotherhood, paranoia, and the inscrutable will of the Emperor.
