Summary

When the soul of a modern man takes over the body of a Mongol prince, what path will he choose? Will he seek glory with sword and blade on the banks of the Rhine, or live out his days in idle luxury as a pampered royal? For Ji Feng, the answer is simple: usurp the Mongol throne. Awakening as Chagatai, the second son of Genghis Khan, Ji Feng decides to play the game on his own terms. He abolishes the enslavement of the Han people, elevates Han officials, and establishes academies of learning, earning the wrath of traditionalists across the steppe who accuse him of betraying his heritage. Yet, within a few years, the tide completely turns. As his brothers and legendary generals rally to his side—urging the Great Khan to step down—even the aging ruler is left speechless before the unstoppable rise of a new era.
