In a war-torn wasteland where human lives are meticulously weighed against unpaid bank loans and salvaged organ values, Tao Anran makes a grim living as a scavenger. Transported unexpectedly to this desolate world, his daily routine involves stripping the newly deceased down to their marketable parts—harvesting intact eyes and hearts while discarding damaged tissue—before packing the remaining limbs away for the morgue. Holding a mere iron box containing the final, featherlight remains of a human life destined for the bio-fertilizer vats, Anran stands at the bleak end of the human journey as a cleaner tasked with erasing the world's final traces of existence.
