Bound by circumstances that have kept them from pursuing their true desires, five individuals have led lives marked by quiet unhappiness. Ga Yeon is academically gifted but yearns to become a singer, yet she remains trapped within an educational system that prioritizes rote study over personal dreams and forces her into a life of suppression. Jae Hee is a pianist who struggles with mental health issues that blur the line between reality and delusion, leaving him unable to fully distinguish the waking world from his fantasies. Meanwhile, Dong Woo and Min Seo are a talented musical couple whose artistic expression is stifled by the restrictive realities of the Korean music industry, preventing them from creating the work they truly wish to make. Hyuk, an exceptionally skilled guitarist, finds himself confined to performing in an idol band rather than following his genuine musical path. Ultimately, these five come together to form their own band, seeking liberation through shared creativity.
