Official Details
This volume collects seven short stories by manga artist Chie Shinohara. In "3ninme ga Kieta," Misonoo Chihiro and her friend Nozaki Haruka witness their senior, Miyamoto Banri, murder a fellow student. When no one believes their account, they realize that Banri is the only person who acknowledges the truth—and she is now hunting them to protect herself, leaving the girls to uncover her true motive. "Kootta Natsu no Hi" follows Youko, who is house-sitting alone while her mother is away. An armed intruder breaks in demanding money from a recent home sale, and despite Youko’s insistence that she knows nothing about it, he refuses to believe her, forcing her to find a way to escape. In "Satsui ni wa Aoi Ribon wo Kakete," Kazuya was the kept lover of the wealthy Nagatani-san until her sudden death from a heart attack. At the funeral, Mariko encounters Kazuya and discovers an unmarked bottle of clear liquid in his car, planting a seed of suspicion that he may have murdered Nagatani-san for her inheritance. "Gozen 0ji no Toubousha" centers on Mizunuma Kazumi, who is falsely accused of shoplifting a CD she does not remember taking. A stranger intervenes, claiming he saw the disc fall into her bag accidentally, but when she thanks him, he ominously replies that she now owes him a favor. "Nanika ga Yami de Miteiru" features Asou Minako, whose confession to the elite Nakamura Tooru is immediately rejected. Refusing to give up, she follows him to a student council meeting and stumbles upon a massive secret. In "Jisatsushitsu Room Number 404," Eriko moves into her friend Mari’s apartment building, where rent is low because two previous tenants committed suicide in the same room. Unbothered by the history, Eriko is motivated solely by the chance to live near her secret crush, Tooru—who happens to be Mari’s boyfriend. Finally, "Weekend no Shoutaijou" tells of Sawara Noriko, who receives a mysterious ticket to a jazz concert. Upon attending, she finds the empty seat beside her claimed by her crush, Shiki Satoshi, leaving her to wonder if he was the one who sent the invitation.
