Summary
Official Details
High schooler Takatoki lives and breathes manga and anime, harboring an unwavering desire to experience a romance straight out of the screen—complete with a girlfriend who embodies every classic female anime archetype. His childhood friend Chiyoko, however, is the polar opposite of that fantasy: rough, notoriously combative, and thoroughly unladylike, she spends her time trying to drag him back to reality. But during one routine outing, the pair stumbles upon a sailor-uniformed girl menaced by a pack of thugs. As Chiyoko swiftly dispatches the attackers, Takatoki learns that the girl, Asadzuma Youtsugi, is a cosplayer devoted to living her life as if she were an anime character. Could this chance meeting be the fated beginning of Takatoki’s long-awaited animated love story?
