Dark Key Master

Under the Tokugawa shogunate, order prevails, and the people enjoy an era of peace and relative prosperity. Yet the darker impulses of the human heart remain unquenched, stirring greed and desire—and providing the perfect gateway for demons to cross into the mortal realm by possessing vulnerable souls. It falls to Jonosuke, the master of keys, to exorcise these malevolent beings. Renowned as Edo’s finest locksmith, he employs specially crafted locks to seal wicked spirits away. Alongside the captivating O-kin, a shrine maiden who resorts to unconventional methods, Jonosuke’s demon-hunting path brings him into contact with several prominent figures of the era. These chance encounters prove invaluable when he becomes entangled in a conspiracy that threatens the highest echelons of the government.
