Ema and Aoi have been childhood friends and sweethearts for eight years. They have lived together for the past four, and Ema once quietly hoped that marriage would be the natural next step for them. Lately, though, Aoi has grown careless with household chores and barely remembers her birthday, let alone celebrates it. More and more, Ema feels as if she is the only one still actively loving him as a partner. Just as doubt begins to creep in—whether they can really marry at all—she unexpectedly crosses paths with her old high school crush.
