In a world where humans and monsters coexist, Natsuki Sasahara struggles to make ends meet as a bounty hunter. Her work primarily involves cases where supernatural beings violate the legal protections afforded to their generally weaker human neighbors. As a half-human, half-cat hybrid, Natsuki bridges both societies, striving to understand and respect each culture while upholding the law. She is supported by a team with complicated dynamics: Batanen, a werewolf who secretly harbors romantic feelings for her; Tommy, another werewolf ally; and Sakura, a nine-tailed fox demon with a hidden agenda. Despite working alongside Natsuki, Sakura’s true intention is to consume her companion in order to complete her ninth tail and fully unlock her magical powers.
