However, Alduin awakens an absolute talent with no upper limit: Universal Devouring Evolution. While other dragons hoard gold and kidnap princesses, Alduin lurks in the swamps, devouring everything to steadily evolve. Consuming hematite grants impenetrable armor, absorbing holy stones provides immunity to divine judgment, and ingesting void crystals unlocks catastrophic dragon breath. Using shrewd business tactics, he even strikes a deal with his parents to enslave his arrogant pure-blooded siblings as unpaid miners so he can develop safely within the lair. Millennia later, when humanity mobilizes twelve floating mechanical cities and millions of magitech warships to eradicate the legendary Dragon of Ultimate Doom, Alduin simply wipes his mouth and smiles at the armada of machines and divine avatars filling the sky. He muses that they are far too polite for delivering such a lavish feast right to his doorstep just as he was getting hungry.
