Goggle

A collection of interconnected short stories. In *Slider*, a band of misfits crosses paths with the god of poverty, sparking a chain of mischief and unwelcome home invasions. *Mister Bojangles* trails a detective’s search for an elusive man known only as "Mister Bo." In the title piece *Goggles*, a stubborn young girl stumbles into the desolate lives of two men—and she cannot remove her goggles, for reasons that slowly come to light. *Tsuki no Ya's Sales and Purchases* follows two friends debating the fate of their used bookstore while driving through the night. The prequel *Let's go see the Ocean* recalls the girl’s childhood trip to the beach with her grandfather. Finally, in *Tonkatsu*, an elderly man visits restaurant after restaurant, chasing the perfect tonkatsu he remembers from his youth.
