Originally created as a promotional work for the film of the same name, Heaven's Bookstore follows Satoshi-kun, a drifter who arrives in heaven to serve as a substitute manager at a celestial bookstore. There, he meets Rui, a young woman who is also working at the establishment on a temporary basis. The story chronicles their daily lives as they help visitors recover what they have lost through the unique sanctuary of Heaven's Bookstore.
