The story begins when a visitor arrives at a temple sheltering Myo-Un, Ryu-Sang, and numerous orphaned children. This guest is revealed to be an assassin sent to eliminate the last surviving heir of a prominent family from the Su country, as their anonymous employer seeks to eradicate any potential threats. After calling for reinforcements, the assassin attacks the temple’s matron, exposing her as the final descendant of another powerful lineage also driven out of the Su country.
