Millennia before the events of Skies of Arcadia, the world of Arcadia consisted solely of floating continents beneath six differently colored moons, with no visible surface below. Six distinct civilizations thrived in this celestial realm, each aligned with one of the orbiting moons. Over time, these societies advanced to create Moon Crystals and Gigas—colossal living weapons of mass destruction designed for warfare. The ensuing conflicts devastated the environment and pushed all six civilizations to the brink of extinction. In a desperate bid to end the carnage, the technologically superior Silver Civilization unleashed the Rains of Destruction through their Gigas, drawing meteors from the moons to bombard the world. This cataclysm halted the war and nearly annihilated the other five civilizations. To prevent future catastrophe, the Silver Gigas was sealed away, and the Moon Crystals were hidden. In the present era, the tyrannical Valuan Empire, ruled by Empress Teodora, seeks to recover the lost Moon Crystals to reawaken the Gigas and conquer the world. The empire’s ambitions are enforced by the Valuan Armada, a formidable fleet of ironclad warships commanded by Senior Admiral Galcian and Vice Admiral Ramirez under the Empress’s authority. Their primary opposition comes from the Blue Rogues, a faction of air pirates dedicated to harassing the imperial forces. Amidst this conflict, Fina, a young survivor of the ancient Silver Civilization, is dispatched on a critical mission: to locate the Moon Crystals before the Valuans and secure them in a safe haven.
