Choujuu Densetsu Gestalt

The story centers on a perilous and enigmatic island known simply as "G." Ages ago, a powerful deity named Gestalt was cast down to the earth and took refuge there. To speak the name that the island represents is strictly forbidden, as the people live in such fear of the god's fury that they have come to regard his very name as a curse. Father Oliver, a priest who has abandoned his order, journeys to the island of G in search of the truth behind its dark legend. Along the way, he encounters a young girl named Ohri, who proves to be remarkably skilled in magic. Meanwhile, the head of Oliver's former order has hired a dark elf named Suzu to track him down and bring him back. Suzu locates him without difficulty, but she did not anticipate the powerful sorceress at his side. Ohri quickly dispatches Suzu, and she and the Father press onward with their mission. As if their path were not already fraught with danger, the island of G teems with monsters and magic-users who continually block their way.
