Noramimi

In the world of Noramimi, most households own a mascot—peculiar, whimsical creatures that live within the home and serve as companions to young children. Noramimi is one such mascot. Unfortunately, he belongs to the ogre type, which makes him distinctly unpopular with children, who invariably prefer cuter alternatives. Reluctantly, he decides to take up residence at Hello Kids, an agency that coordinates placements and other affairs between mascots and their human hosts. Yet, like all mascots, his most earnest wish is to one day be adopted by a family of his own.
