A.D. Police

Set several years prior to the events of Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, A.D. Police follows the specialized law enforcement unit tasked with managing rogue Boomers throughout Mega-Tokyo. Officer Kenji Sasaki confronts a profound professional and personal crisis after losing yet another partner to a violent Boomer attack. Although placed on mandatory leave the following day, he is promptly assigned a new partner: German police officer Hans Kleif. Complicating matters significantly, Kenji had physically assaulted Hans during an altercation at a bar only the night before. Beyond the persistent dangers of controlling malfunctioning androids, Kenji must now navigate the difficult process of building trust and cooperation with a colleague he recently attacked.
