He was born under a fate marked by three yins and an extreme malevolent spirit. By the age of seven, his soul was meant to be extracted for use in refining medicine, a destiny already quietly sealed by the leaders of the Taoist sect. To escape this fate, he released a spirit king who had slumbered for a thousand years, only to inadvertently bind himself in a life-soul contract tied to both life and death. Outside, the spirit-consuming array remains unbroken, while the spirit king sinks into a long sleep, leaving Gu Yinchen constantly threatened by the return of evil energy.
