Chigusa Tsukikage holds the exclusive rights to "The Crimson Goddess," a legendary lost masterpiece that the theatrical world eagerly hopes to see revived. However, Tsukikage refuses to allow the cherished play to be performed by any actress she deems unworthy of the title role. Fortunately, she has discovered two exceptionally gifted young talents who may possess the necessary potential: Maya Kitajima and Ayumi Himekawa. Although both display extraordinary theatrical skill, only one can ultimately claim the coveted role. The series was awarded the Japan Cartoonists Association Award in 1995 and is published in Indonesian under the title *Topeng Kaca* by Elex Media.
