Fujimoto Hiroya is the model student: top of his class, Student Council Vice President, and an idol to the school’s well-behaved girls. Yet beneath this polished exterior, he longs to trade his disciplined life for the carefree popularity of someone like Masaki. To his peers, Masaki is little more than a fool who prioritizes soccer over studying and rarely opens a textbook. With bleached hair, flashy fashion, and a reputation as poor as Fujimoto’s is stellar, Masaki is effortlessly popular among the mainstream crowd. During the summer of his freshman year, Fujimoto decides to completely reinvent himself in hopes of befriending him. However, he soon faces the question of whether dyed hair, new clothes, and a piercing can truly transform who he is on the inside.
