In 1999, Earth faces a catastrophic threat as the planet La-Metal approaches on a collision course. Yukino Yayoi, a junior high school teacher with a deep passion for astronomy, learns of this impending disaster from Dr. Amamori at the Tokyo Observatory. While she assists the doctor in his research, earning his respect for her celestial knowledge, Yukino harbors a profound secret: she is actually Queen Millennia, an exile from La-Metal who arrived on Earth a thousand years ago and has been observing humanity ever since. As meteors begin to rain down on the planet, panic spreads across the globe. Amidst the chaos, Hajime, one of Yukino’s students, rushes to her aid. In response to his bravery and concern, she leads him to a vast underground cavern, revealing the first glimpse of her hidden world.
