Zhou Ling is a natural-born genius whose mastery of the ecstasy art places him far ahead of his peers. It is only after leaving Zhouwang City that he comes to realize he lives within a far vaster land of immortality. In the lower realm, four great dynasties—Zhou, Wu, Li, and Sun—occupy the southeast, northwest, and northern regions, alongside the Wang family. Above them stand the three realms: the Black Domain, the Territory, and the Immortal Domain, which are governed by a set of interconnected houses: Narcissus Mansion, Thunder Immortal Mansion, Fire Immortal Mansion, Earth Immortal Mansion, Jin Immortal Mansion, and Wood Immortal Mansion. These houses maintain a relationship of mutual restraint. Among them, only the Jin Immortal Mansion holds true dominance in the region, as it is home to the sole true immortal; the others are led by lower-level immortal kings. The ranks of cultivation are divided into the Lower Earth Immortal King and Celestial Immortal King, which correspond to the metal, wood, water, fire, earth, and thunder systems. A Genuine Immortal King must learn two to three attributes of magic, while a Peeping Immortal builds upon all one's own elemental magic, adding the power of upper rules, space, time, and heaven. Only one individual can attain the rank of Peeping Immortal, which is divided into levels one through nine, with the tenth level marking the status of True Immortal—the living encyclopedia of all magic methods.
