Ichinose, a violin student, finds himself at a pivotal juncture in his life. Lacking a clear ambition or specific dream to pursue, he resolves to assist his mother, a piano instructor, by teaching violin himself. His uneventful routine is disrupted one night when he discovers a beautiful, melancholy girl standing barefoot outside an apartment building.
