Yakumo Tatsu

Kuraki Fuzuchi is a reserved young man possessing extraordinary psychic abilities and masterful swordsmanship. His path crosses with Takeo Nanachi, a college student who harbors similar latent powers, when Nanachi travels to a remote mountain shrine. Nanachi arrives to participate in a rare festival held only once every forty-nine years, intending to purify a sword left behind by his late grandfather. During his visit, he encounters Kuraki and inadvertently witnesses the latter’s shamanic initiation ritual. From this moment forward, their lives become inextricably linked as they face ghosts, spirits, demons, and other supernatural entities. Interwoven with these present-day encounters is a parallel narrative that explores the events of their previous lives.
