Narin and Danwoo enter into an arranged marriage, yet their wedding night passes in chaste stillness, the two lying side by side without a single intimate touch. Though Narin strives not to dwell on it, she cannot silence the quiet doubt that she might simply lack allure. While wandering through a bustling market teeming with peculiar wares, she chances upon a mysterious incense burner recommended by a vendor, who claims that its smoke can instantly bewitch anyone who breathes it in. Curious and eager to put it to the test, Narin lights the incense. As Danwoo inhales the fragrance, an unfamiliar heat begins to stir within him. Sensing the shift in the air, Narin moves toward him—only to be seized from behind by an unexpected grip. Whirling around, she is frozen in shock to find another Danwoo standing before her.
