Junkie Fiction

Taku is a quiet, enigmatic figure who roams the margins of society with his faithful black cat at his side. He claims no official title, yet he is known to those in the know as a self-styled apothecary—a purveyor of remedies that exist far beyond the reach of ordinary pharmacies and licensed practitioners. The medicines he crafts are not for the faint of heart; they are potent, unregulated, and sourced through channels that defy conventional explanation. What drives Taku to walk this shadowy path remains shrouded in mystery, but his peculiar trade hints at a world where illness and affliction demand cures that mainstream medicine cannot provide. Whether he is a healer, a dealer, or something else entirely, his black cat companion seems to share in his silent vigilance. With each concoction he dispenses, Taku blurs the line between salvation and danger, leaving those who seek his help to wonder just how far they are willing to go for a remedy that was never meant to exist.
