Sword Bearer

Three thousand years ago, the mortal realm was corrupted by Blood Sha. A crimson moon ruled the night and a black sun scorched the day as demonic energy eroded heaven and earth. Spiritual essence twisted into malevolent forces, allowing beasts, demons, and evil spirits to rise and seize power. These entities now sit upon divine thrones, falsely claiming godhood while feasting on the worship of the masses. Beneath them, humanity suffers in an apocalyptic hellscape where lives are treated as worthless grass and people are no better than livestock. Three millennia later, a young man is unearthed from the ruins of an ancient divine-demonic battlefield. He possesses a primordial divine seed that allows him to devour demons and assimilate Blood Sha, mastering both orthodox human cultivation and forbidden heretical arts. Witnessing the unbearable misery of this dying world, he resolves to change it by becoming the Sword Bearer for humanity, drawing his blade against the monsters and the despair that plague existence. Years later, he stands ready to defy the heavens themselves. Wielding the soul-devouring Heaven-Swallowing Banner in one hand and the radiant Sword of Righteousness in the other, he tramples upon towers of white bone to confront the false gods. They have declared that all living beings are merely dishes upon their banquet table, demanding that mortals accept their grim fate with resignation. Today, he overturns that table and issues his final decree: he invites the gods to their deaths.
