Set in the early Yuan Dynasty within the world of Shushan, Fang Liang, a loyalist remnant unable to endure Mongol rule, led his clan and villagers overseas to establish Anle Island. However, he was betrayed by his deputy, Yu Li, who abandoned Fang Liang’s three newborn daughters—Chufeng, Erfeng, and Sanfeng—to the waters of the South China Sea near the Purple Cloud Palace. Generations later, a young man named Ze Yue arrived at the palace through a stroke of fate, carrying the innate spiritual treasure known as the Stele of Merit. His arrival coincided precisely with the return of an ancient clam spirit from the palace, who had rescued the three infant girls from the sea. From that moment on, the depths of the South China Sea in the Shushan world gained a cultivator of boundless merit and virtue.
