Summary

Raw Details
Liu Cheng transmigrates to the late Han Dynasty and becomes Liu Bei’s eldest son, who was originally destined to die in the chaos of war. The story begins during the decisive Battle of Guandu between Yuan Shao and Cao Cao. After suffering a crushing defeat at Runan, Liu Bei prepares to flee to Jing Province, facing eight idle years while watching Cao Cao unify the north. Refusing this passive fate, Liu Cheng makes a bold decision inspired by their ancestors: he convinces his father to abandon the crowded competition in Jing Province and instead follow the path of Liu Bang by seizing Guanzhong directly. Establishing their roots in the Qin heartland, they expand westward to claim Liang Province and southward to take Yi Province, governing with benevolence to win the hearts of the people and attract heroes from across the realm. This strategy gives rise to the legendary Guanlong military aristocracy three centuries ahead of its historical timeline. Years later, Liu Bei leads one hundred thousand elite Guanlong cavalry out of the passes to sweep across the Central Plains, meeting Cao Cao beneath the walls of Xuchang to discuss heroism over wine once more. As Cao Cao laments the arrival of the King of Guanzhong, Liu Bei retorts that while they remain the only true heroes under heaven, his own son is a qilin among men, whereas Cao Cao’s heirs are mere dogs and pigs.
