Hogwarts: Newt's Master of Magical Beasts

Years later, when asked to name the best decision he ever made, Albus Dumbledore would recall that afternoon in 1992. "Probably bringing Newt's grandson, Rolf, to Hogwarts," he would say. "He is a natural-born Master of Magical Beasts—a genius unlike any before him." But when pressed on his greatest regret, Dumbledore's thoughts would turn to Rolf's very first year at the school. "Why did I ever let him into the Forbidden Forest? I knew full well what would happen once he set foot in there." As for Rolf himself, he would simply look back at the vast army of magical creatures trailing behind him, flashing a harmless, innocent smile. "They're all very friendly—not dangerous at all. Why are you all running so far away? My magical beasts don't eat people."
