Time-Traveling to 1966 to Lift the Whole Village Out of Poverty

In 2026, Yang Yingbiao returns home with his parents to attend a funeral. Just after burying his great-grandfather, he blinks and suddenly finds himself transformed into his 23-year-old great-grandfather in person. Looking at the dilapidated mountain village before him, Yingbiao realizes he has time-traveled to a remote village in the year 1966. Realizing that the villagers are on the verge of starting a violent brawl with the neighboring Han Village over water resources—and remembering that his great-grandfather was ambushed and severely injured during this exact incident, leaving him disfigured, crippled, and relegated to the status of the village outcast—Yingbiao feels a chill run down his spine. Determined to prevent this tragic fate from repeating itself, Yingbiao gazes at the two glowing, flickering gates within his mind and knows he must take action.
