Three years ago, an unknown energy entity known as "You" swept across the globe, leaving humanity with two fates. Those who symbiotically bonded with the energy awakened special abilities and became known as "Chen." Those who were completely infected while retaining their self-awareness degenerated into Demon Gods that feed on "Sun"—energy generated from negative emotions. These Demon Gods have an insatiable appetite for human fear, resentment, and even flesh. To monitor these mutated individuals and contain the catastrophic threat of the Demon Gods, nations jointly established the Anti-Demon Hunter Association (AHA).
