Shun, Kaname, and the twins Yuuki and Yuuta have been friends since kindergarten, a dynamic that can be described as more of an unspoken understanding than a traditional friendship. As high school students, they continue to spend their time together, although their interactions are often strained. Their lives are disrupted by the arrival of Chizuru, a half-Japanese transfer student, who shakes up the group and brings a newfound energy to their relationships with one another.
