Wizard: I Have a Scale of Truth

This is the best of times. The Second Wizard War has just concluded, ushering in a golden age for the magical world. Countless wizards aboard their floating cities have set sail across the Astral Plane, beginning a great age of discovery. Yet it is also the worst of times, for the battlefield holds not only victors but also the countless fallen who perished before triumph could be claimed. The flames of war have been lit, and no one can remain a bystander. I am Gawain, an ordinary wizard apprentice, yet buried deep within my soul lies a Scale of Truth. So long as the scale remains balanced, failed potions can be turned into successes, incomplete knowledge can be restored to wholeness, techniques from parchment can be mastered in an instant, and even the flesh of nameless ancient gods can be refined into primal essence. In this turbulent and magnificent era, I will ultimately become the one who leads the age forward.
