As scientists scramble to uncover the cause of their sudden emergence, the monsters continue to wreak havoc globally, prompting humanity to find solace in the development of the MARS suit, a revolutionary weapon designed to counter the Ancients. However, the suit's operational capabilities are limited to individuals possessing specific DNA, making Takeru Hinata, a troubled teenager with a complex past, one of the select few capable of piloting this potent weapon. With the support of the AAST, a specialized police force established to combat the Ancient threat, Takeru embarks on a perilous journey to battle both the monstrous invaders and his personal demons, while unraveling the enigmatic origins of the Earth's newfound aggressors.
