In the village of Jimuna, located on the continent of Jamu Jamu, lives a young girl named Kukuri. She is the last descendant of the Migu Migu Tribe and is raised by an elderly witch who teaches her the secret magic of her ancestors. Unfortunately, Kukuri is not a skilled student of magic. Meanwhile, Nike, a boy from the same village, is raised by strict parents who aim to mold him into a brave hero for the village. Despite his initial reluctance, Nike grows up to become a strong and capable young man. When the king of the village, Kodai, recruits troops to battle against the ruler of darkness, Giri, Kukuri and Nike are among those selected.
