Sado Taro, a self-proclaimed masochist, struggles to overcome his unique preference for enduring pain, a trait that began in middle school after being punched by his classmate Yuno Arashiko. As he navigates high school with his friend Tatsukichi, Taro becomes determined to rid himself of this tendency and live a normal teenage life. He turns to the Number Two Volunteer Club, led by the enigmatic and violent Isurugi Mio, who is notorious for her bossy and domineering nature. Despite his reservations, Taro seeks Mio's help to address his problem, but what he doesn't yet realize is that his life is on the cusp of becoming incredibly complicated.
