In a not-too-distant future, the world grapples with pressing issues such as pollution, resource depletion, and population expansion. To address these concerns, the Japanese government developed sensory simulation capsules, known as "Gaia," a virtual reality program designed to provide an escape from reality. Within this artificial world, the concept of pain has been intentionally omitted, resulting in a realm where death and suffering are nonexistent. The life of Oono Yuuri takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a mysterious card, setting off a chain of events that leads him down a path of conflicting dreams, unlikely friendships, and reluctant vengeance.
