In a world where Pokémon, unique creatures with diverse abilities and appearances, are captured and trained by individuals known as Pokémon trainers, young Satoshi has long aspired to become a Pokémon Master. On his 10th birthday, he receives a Pikachu, a rebellious Electric-type Pokémon, and sets out on a journey to achieve his dream. Joined by friends Kasumi, a Water-type trainer, and Takeshi, a Rock-type trainer, Satoshi and Pikachu travel across vast regions, facing numerous challenges and dangers. Team Rocket, a nefarious organization, seeks to steal powerful Pokémon through deceitful schemes, prompting Satoshi and his companions to thwart their plans. As Satoshi strives to earn the eight Pokémon Gym Badges necessary to challenge the Pokémon League, he must confront the complexities of his friendship with Pikachu and the true meaning of being a Pokémon Master.
