Bai Zhou, a transmigrator and retired savior, has found himself in a world where his home has been merged with a world he once saved. In this world where Pokémon knowledge is relatively underdeveloped, he has decided to pursue a career as a game producer, and his first project is a recreation of the classic Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen. The original main characters, Red and Blue, encounter Bai Zhou's game in a special episode, leading to a surprise revelation: Bai Zhou has created a game based on Red's adventure, and he now seeks Red's input on its playability. As the story unfolds, Bai Zhou's true identity and numerous titles, including Super-powered user, Black and White Hero, and Creator of Team Rainbow Rocket, are revealed, and he expresses his dissatisfaction with his current situation, paving the way for a new narrative.
