In this unusual and intriguing tale, 15-year-old Iwaki Tomonori's life takes a drastic turn when he discovers that the Japanese government has secretly married him to a 12-year-old girl named Rizel. But Rizel is no ordinary child - she is a biochemically engineered human, created by her "papa"s, who have promised to waive multiple bills of Iwaki's parents in exchange for being allowed to stay at their house. As Iwaki navigates this strange and uncomfortable situation, he must also contend with the fact that Rizel is being used as a tool for her creators, who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
