Mahou Shoujo♡Misoji

At thirty-five, Satoko has long traded her childhood dreams for the comforting predictability of spreadsheets, deadline-driven projects, and the quiet hum of fluorescent office lights. She is the model of a modern office lady, her daily rhythm defined by commuter trains, afternoon coffee runs, and the gentle resignation of a life firmly anchored in the ordinary. Yet all of that routine shatters without warning on one unremarkable Tuesday when an inexplicable burst of light transforms her commute into the opening act of an absurd new reality. Clad in frills and ribbons that seem better suited for a teenager's fantasy, she stumbles into the bewildering role of a fully-fledged magical girl. Gone are the days of simple office politics; now her battles are waged against shadowy creatures that lurk in the city's overlooked corners, demanding she master powers she never asked for while scrambling to return to her desk before her boss notices her absence. The juxtaposition is jarring—one moment she is wielding a glittering scepter, the next she is fumbling with a stapler, her identity split between the mundane demands of adult responsibility and the surreal chaos of her after-hours calling. As she struggles to reconcile her practical, worn-out worldview with the fantastical duty thrust upon her, Satoko must confront an unsettling question: in a world where magic is real, is it ever too late to become the heroine of your own story?
