LOVE UPSET

A former scout for a once-promising baseball team crosses paths with Ki-Jeong, a high school student determined to make it as a professional player. While everyone around the boy dwells on his shortcomings, the scout alone recognizes the genius within him, offering heartfelt guidance to keep him from walking away from the sport. To Ki-Jeong, he becomes the only person who has ever believed in him exactly as he is. "Ki-Jeong, your hands and feet are bigger than mine. That means one day you could grow even taller than me." Yet that fleeting happiness proves short-lived. Without a word of explanation, the scout resigns from his position and vanishes without a trace. Five years later, he returns to his old team under a new title—performance analysis manager—only to come face to face with Ki-Jeong, now a professional baseball player who has changed beyond recognition. Though startled by the man he has become, the scout finds himself unable to look away. "The number I never got back then... can I have it now?" For two people whose time stood frozen in longing, the clock finally begins to turn again—on the blazing mound.
