Alice awakens with no memory of how she arrived in Room 431 of a strange, silent manor, its shadowed halls steeped in an unsettling stillness. Before she can begin to make sense of her situation, a mysterious entity known only as the Serpent delivers a chilling command: under no circumstances is she to leave the room. But the warning goes unheeded. The moment Alice defies it, a horrifying curse seizes her body and it begins to rot—decaying even as she remains alive to endure every moment of it. What she had assumed was an ordinary room is revealed to be the only barrier holding a gruesome fate at bay, and her own curiosity has now set that fate in motion. Trapped between a rule she has already broken and a curse already consuming her, Alice must search for some means of breaking free from the manor's clutches. But in a place where a single act of defiance carries such grotesque consequences, will she manage to escape the cursed manor—or will its darkness claim her entirely?
