Kindergarten Wars

Once feared across the criminal underworld as Convict 999, Rita was a legendary assassin whose very name promised swift, silent death. Now, she has traded the shadows for a brightly lit classroom, taking up an unlikely post at an elite kindergarten that serves the children of the globe's most influential heads of state. Her current mission is no less perilous than her former contracts: protect these young, high-value targets from the unending stream of kidnappers, hired guns, and enemy spies dispatched to seize them. With her devastating combat skills and superhuman reflexes, Rita is fully equipped to turn any assault into a one-sided rout—yet the true danger she faces may not come from the outside. Despite her formidable reputation and overwhelming strength, Rita carries a critical flaw that no amount of training can remedy: she is hopelessly susceptible to a handsome face. A roguish grin or a pair of striking eyes can instantly disarm her, shattering her lethal focus and transforming the composed killer into an easily distracted romantic. In a high-stakes environment where split-second decisions determine survival, this achingly human weakness becomes her greatest liability. Every new arrival to the school—whether a charming new teacher, a suspicious diplomat, or a surprisingly attractive intruder—forces Rita to walk a razor's edge between professional duty and personal infatuation, all while the world's most powerful offspring play carelessly in the background.
