Chivalry of a Failed Knight

In a world where certain individuals known as Blazers possess the extraordinary ability to materialize their souls as weapons, the coveted title of Mage-Knight lies within reach for the gifted few. Kurogane Ikki shares that very dream, yet unlike his peers, he was born without a single drop of natural talent to back it up. At his academy, Ikki is branded the worst Blazer of them all—a laughingstock whose name invites nothing but ridicule. With the entire school mocking his shortcomings and dismissing his ambitions as hopeless fantasy, his goal of becoming a knight seems destined to remain exactly that: a distant dream. That is, until an unexpected duel pits him against Stella Vermillion, a prodigious Rank A Blazer, and Ikki pulls off the unthinkable by claiming victory, leaving everyone around him in utter disbelief. With his true potential finally revealed, Ikki's long-awaited fight to the top begins—a climb that will test everything he has in his quest to seize the rank he was always told he could never earn.
