Makikomarete Isekai Teni suru Yatsu wa, Taitei Cheat

During an otherwise unremarkable lunch break, high school student Yuzo Ogata and four of his classmates are abruptly torn from their mundane routines and hurled into a realm of swordplay, sorcery, and ancient prophecy. Standing before them is the world's sovereign princess—a master of space-time magic—who declares that they have been summoned as the chosen Heroes destined to overthrow the tyrannical Demon Lord and restore peace to her endangered kingdom. While Yuzo's four companions erupt in a whirlwind of panic and exhilaration at their unexpected heroic calling, he alone remains unsettlingly composed, observing the chaos with a detached stillness that borders on the surreal. That eerie calm is shattered when the princess, glancing over her summoning circle, utters a revelation that rewrites the entire narrative. With a furrowed brow and a note of genuine confusion, she points out that the ritual was meticulously designed to call forth exactly four saviors—not five. The implication lands like a blade: Yuzo Ogata was never part of the prophecy. He is a glitch in the magic, an accidental fifth wheel caught in the spatial current, a misfit hero who was never meant to arrive. Suddenly stripped of any divine purpose and branded as the "extra" in a story that has no place for him, Yuzo stands alone on the fringes of destiny. In a world that already has its chosen champions, what future awaits a young man who was never supposed to be here—and can a mistaken summoning ever become the seed of a legend in its own right?
