Ore ga Mitsuketa, Konbini no Koi

For Hanamaru, a businessman whose painfully shy nature keeps him confined to a quiet, carefully ordered life, the brightest part of any day is also the briefest: the three short minutes he spends crossing paths with a man at his local convenience store. He never expected such a fleeting encounter to matter—yet somehow, that sliver of time was enough for love to quietly take root. Hanamaru had long treated his inner world as pure fantasy, a private daydream that had no place in reality. That illusion collapses the instant he admits the truth to himself: he has fallen, completely and hopelessly, for someone he knows only from these stolen moments beneath the store's fluorescent lights. From then on, the man is never far from his thoughts—he appears whenever Hanamaru closes his eyes, drifts into his mind beneath an open sky, and his absence on holidays leaves behind a hollow loneliness. For a man far too timid to act on his feelings, this love measured in three-minute increments may prove impossible to ignore.
