Satsudou

Akamori Mitsuo dreams of a life defined by the mundane—clocking in, filing reports, and sharing quiet drinks with colleagues after work. He yearns for the unremarkable existence of a humble salaryman, a world far removed from the blood-soaked legacy that clings to his name. Born into a clandestine dynasty that has perfected the ancient, arcane art of killing for centuries, Mitsuo is not merely a trained assassin; he is a genius murderer, his instincts refined to supernatural precision through generations of ruthless tradition. The very skills that make him a prodigy in the shadow world are the ones he desperately wishes to bury, as he struggles to suppress a heritage that views violence as an everyday ritual. Yet the ordinary life he so covets remains stubbornly out of reach. The criminal underworld continually intrudes upon his fragile peace, placing formidable obstacles between him and his quiet ambition. Ruthless Yakuza clans, battle-hardened street fighters, and vicious urban gangs cross his path, forcing him into violent confrontations time and again. Each encounter tests his resolve, threatening to unleash the dormant predator within and drag him back into the cycle of bloodshed he seeks to abandon. As the pressure mounts, Mitsuo must navigate a treacherous landscape where his pursuit of normalcy is constantly sabotaged by the very inheritance that defines him, leaving him to question whether a man forged in murder can ever truly find his place among the living.
