Legend holds that every mystery the world cannot explain is, in truth, a fragment of a nightmare once dreamt by God. When these fragments drift into human minds, they intertwine with fear, malice, and madness—and, little by little, reality itself is manipulated, giving shape to what are known as the tales of nightmare. Shirano Aoi is a boy who treasures the quiet rhythm of his ordinary daily life, clinging to the normalcy he hopes never to lose. Tokitsuki Yukino is a girl who cannot escape the shadow of her own past. One guards a life of peace, while the other remains forever haunted by what lies behind her. It is within Cinderella's Nightmare—a tale spun from the insanity festering in the human heart—that these two souls cross paths. Caught inside a story far darker than any fairy tale, what fate now awaits the boy who longs for peace and the girl pursued by her past...?
